SPM Single Point Mooring Hawser ( Double Braided Nylon ) The Single Point Mooring Hawsers (SPM mooring) designed with an innovative, double-layer braided structure. Offering significantly higher strength, enhanced abrasion resistance, and a longer service life compared to traditional rope designs. This single point mooring rope features metal eye rings at both ends, which reinforced with a protective layer of polyester sleeve (at least 6mm thick). The outer layer of the rope coated with a polyurethane resin to further improve its abrasion resistance. Additionally, floating buoys are added to the rope starting 25 feet from the eye ring, with the number of buoys determined by regulatory requirements, ensuring the rope stays afloat during usage. Main performance Material: Double Braided Nylon (Polyamide) Rope Construction: load-bearing cores with a protective cover of polyamide. Application: Primarily used in marine fishing and offshore mooring systems Rope Colour: White with green marker for easy identification Approx. Spec. Density 1.14 non floating. Melting Point: 215℃. Abrasion Resistance: Excellent, making it ideal for harsh marine environments UV Resistance: Exceptional, ensuring durability under prolonged sun exposure Temperature Resistance: 80℃ max continuous. Chemical Resistance: Reasonable; acids, oxidizers, and solvents may affect nylon material Dry & wet conditions: Wet strength is approximately 5% lower than dry strength SPM Polyamide Hawsers manufactured in accordance with OCIMF 2000 regulations.
